Meet Amy, Ryan, Kellen and Rhyse, the Rawlins Fam and their styled sun soaked family portrait session! Amy and Ryan are an awesome parenting team and their boys are good boys with bright spirits! Kellen the eldest is sweet and smart. Rhyse the youngest is awesome and as fiery as that red hair of his. You would never know it just looking at them but this couple has flown over some major life hurdles together and are truly stronger now than ever. Amy was diagnosed with Lupus before they were even engaged, years later received a kidney from her twin brother for a successful transplant and then proceeded to have not one but TWO healthy baby boys. Though this was very much a part of her life it in no way defines her and she truly let the past be the past once she was healthy. I rarely even hear her mention this time in her life now, she is a strong, aware, grounded person. This will forever impress me and that Ryan was right there the whole way. She is totally Super Woman in my eyes and Ryan is like… Prince Charming. So… to celebrate their life and awesome family we went shopping of course! we decked out the boys in funky outfits and just HAD to drape Amy in head to toe Gold sequins. I mean what else would you dress the most beautiful (inside and out) red headed woman surrounded by 3 boys in? Gold sequins is always the answer. Lastly… at the end of the shoot we told the boys to hit the road and I kept Amy behind for a few portraits of just her to show how I see her. She is my amazing Bestie, I love her and that she lets me photograph her when I’m sure she would rather hide.
