Joelle | 2018 Placer Grad

I LOVE her so much!!!! Where do I begin with this awesome family? I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Joelles older sister Talia and both of them are total unicorns!!! Sometimes I wonder what the Demello family feeds their 4 daughters because ALL of them are earthy, lovely, smart, polite, creative and freakin COOL humans! They are all kinda surfer-y, skater-y, musically inclined, stand up comedian-y, silly, sweet, natural, beach hair beauties who are total leaders!!! Joelle was this awesome mix of goofy and glamorous and had me laughing out loud several times. She’d be all serious in one shot and then I’d drop my camera to find her with crossed eyes and her chin vanished into her neck somewhere. Honestly I’ve never enjoyed myself so much. I love the “come as you are” girls and she was the epitome of realistic youth, free from all the normal inner thoughts of teenage girls. She’s good in her own skin and I cannot tell you how much this impresses me! SHE impresses me! Thank you Joelle for a really fun tree climbing night! xo m.
