Happy Birthday Edan

The older I get the more I find myself whispering about my upcoming Birthday or skipping past it quickly in hopes nobody notices. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE chocolate cake and mint chip ice-cream but the thought of celebrating another year older has started losing its sparkle… until now! Miss Edan is turning 11 and we had a special Happy Birthday shoot to celebrate!!!! She got all dressed up, hiked into this big field and opened her arms in the warm summer breeze because she is young and that is something to be celebrated! I watched her laugh and dance like nobody was watching and it inspired me to savor how today feels a bit more because tomorrow may feel totally different! I too would like to make my next Birthday special by getting dressed, up celebrating being young too, …and have chocolate cake!!!!
