Jaye | Colfax High 2017 Senior

Lets talk about one of the most unique, creative and coolest girls I will ever know. In a world of Pine she is a redwood!!! I first met this very sweet very shy girl in a dance class I was teaching many years ago. She hardly spoke a word, smiled a ton and gave it her all! Even though we barely spoke I truly loved this mysterious quite girl named Jaye. Fast forward about 6 or so years to me once again being lucky enough to get to know her even better. There are some major highlights from her session. First of all Jaye aspires to be a screen writer which I think is the coolest and most “Hollywoody” occupation ever. I imagine her sitting at a wooden desk with a quill (like in Harry Potter) madly writing while gold ribbons fly from the page as she pushes back curly locks from her forehead! There is no doubt she has a very bright future and will most likely produce something we will all see someday. There is another seriously awesome thing about Jaye… she has a major flare for fashion and we molded her session around some super retro Mod Cloth outfits she put together. She took the time to change her hair and lip color for each outfit and I seriously commend this girl for being exactly who she wants to be. This is a skill many teenage girls do not possess. Sprinkle your glitter all over Jaye, the world could use a little more of you! xo m.
