Taylor | Granite Bay Grad 2019

A winter travel Senior Portrait session… yes please. Getting out of my usual groove and into the hills with Taylor was just what I needed. I knew ahead of time she was into fashion and was getting her hair and makeup done so I was a little extra excited  for a polished look. Her outfits were exactly what I hoped for, they were current, well put together and very much HER. The only problem was last time I visited this spot the snow was only about 6″ deep and when we arrived to find it more in the 7 foot ball park I kinda froze up… no pun intended. Welp, gotta figure it out and keep moving so we climbed up the snowy embankment only to fall through every other step. Mind you we’ve only met once before this and other than our 45 min drive to the snow we really didn’t know each other at all so we got real close real fast as we fell on top of each other trying to rescue ourselves from falling through and laughing the kind of laughter with no sound. It was worth it in the end and I’d gladly stand waist deep in the snow to photograph Taylor all over again.
